"Meag, of course she wants to play with it, you took it out of the box."
Meag - "Not for her to play with! (For me)"
This conversation just took place upstairs. For what you may ask - well it all started Christmas morning. I opened a present for Tymothy - that Nana got her. I was not sure what book this was - and not sure how to pronounce it - Noddy. Well Meag looked over and screamed! It was her all time favorite toy/book/tv program while growing up and Nana was able to find a book, a doll and a car for Tymothy for Christmas.
However, Meag has since referred to these toys as ''hers'' about 6 times since then. She just took the car out of the box, I mentioned that if she took it out the baby would want it and she still did - and now they are upstairs with Meag trying to bribe the baby to play with anything else so she can move the car around.
Did anyone else grow up with this phenemenon? I apparently need to be educated. www.noddy.com for all of you in the same boat as me!
